Vehicle Details1957 Ford Fairlane Convertible. 292 Y block with a Ford-O-Matic 3 speed transmission. Power steering, non power brakes car. Runs, drives, and stops as it should. The car is a survivor. Built mild custom in the 1980’s, then sat indoors for 30 years before I found it. I replaced the fuel system and brake systems. Rebuilt carburetor, new fuel tank and fuel lines. New aluminum radiator. Rebuilt generator. New batteries. New water pump, and all new hoses. Great sounding dual exhaust with cherry bombs. The car is on hydraulics - up, down, and side to side. Cal Custom tube grille, 58 Ford hood. Interior is clean, no tears. Passenger side door glass is cracked. I have the replacement glass. The body is good shape, but it is showing signs of old bodywork, specifically in the drivers side quarter, and around the drivers side headlight. Rear floor pans were patched a long time ago. Power top works. The top is older and torn at the back window. I have a brand new white top and rear window. Just needs to be installed. Drive as is, or take it to the next level.
