Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

You are looking at a 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is a C-code 289 2 barrel, Automatic car but it has had a 4 barrel intake and carburetor installed. This car was in storage for many years. It is running off a gas can under the hood we didn't want to take a chance if the gas tank was rusty. It seems to run pretty good but may need a carb kit from sitting so long. The tranny shifts good. A new master cylinder was installed and the front brakes are working. So it does run, drive, & stop. There is a Y-pipe but no exhaust after that. The rear brakes are not hooked up.

I would consider this a project car that could be driven as is with a little work or completely restore it.

It has a Power Top & Power Steering which both work like they should.

The underside of the car has had the rear rails replaced about the last 2 feet. The inner rockers were replaced. The floor pans, Torque boxes, and front rail extensions have all been replaced. It looks like they never primed or painted anything so it has surface rust but is solid. The drivers side outer rocker is not welded to the inner rocker but this could be fixed without hurting the paint.

The interior is all pretty much original and in good condition. It would need to be cleaned up to be in driver condition or replaced to be really nice.

The exterior of the car is very presentable. It has nice shine. It has had new NOS rear quarters & an NOS hood installed at one time. Some of the work may have been done by an amateurbut it looks pretty good. There are some chips on the front of the passenger door & rear of the fender. There is some bubbling on the rear lip of the trunk lid. There is some bondo cracking on the bottom rear of the passenger door. All of which are not too noticeable. Other than that it looks good.

The headlights work, the blinkers work, the tail lights and running lights were working but they quit I am guessing a bad connection somewhere. The radio doesn't work and the heater fan doesn't work.

A good set of tires were put on the car. A new battery was installed.

There is a clear title.

This will sell to the highest bidder!

A $1000 deposit is due with 24 hours of auctions end and the balance within 7 days be wire transfer, check, or cash in person. If paying by check the car can't leave until the funds have cleared. I would like the car picked up with 14 days but I understand trucking some times is hard to line up.

Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
