1966 Ford M151

This is a very unusual vehicle for Garrett Classics to have in our inventory. We are however very proud and excited to have it. This M151 is a part of our military history and will be remembered by many of the veteranswho served during the Vietnam years.

This MUTT is an original 1966 Ford. It was restored in 1988. Starting with a disassembledvehicle, the owner completely restored and rebuilt it in 1988 and so it's titled as a reconstructed vehicle with a clear Texas title.

In 1951 Ford was awarded the contract to design a 1/4 ton 4X4 vehicle to replace the aging M38 Jeep. The M151 was developed to guidance of the US Army's Ordnance Tank Automotive Command. The M151 MUTT ( Multi Use Tactical Truck) was created.

Military vehicles have become quite collectible and this is a great example to adfd to your collection.

The restoration was well done. There was a lot of attention to detail.

The undercarriage still looks good even though it has been a while since the restoration.

Just like it's predecessor, the Jeep M38s, these were rugged vehicles that could go just about anywhere, and withstand a great deal of abuse.
