Description:

1971 Ford Bronco

Listed here is my 1971 Ford Bronco (Manufactured December 1970). This Bronco is uncut and for the most part original. The Title is Clear. I purchased this Bronco on eBay in 2017 from a seller in Chambersburg PA and the truck now resides outside of Philadelphia, PA. The Bronco had a 1999 expired PA Inspection sticker on it when I got it and the seller said it had been sitting in a barn (or garage) for 17 years. All the metal on this Bronco was original when I got it so it was indoors for a while or there would have been much more rust.

Over the past three years I have done the following to restore this Bronco to good running condition and to restore it to close to factory specifications.

The engine starts easily and runs great, however the internal engine has not had any work done on it and it does smoke on startup and goes through a noticeable amount of oil. Due to the 17 years of sitting I have had to replace most of the engine gaskets and the motor now only leaks a bit. My thought is if you buy this truck you can drive it as is and add some oil here and there and the engine will likely run like this forever. OR, you can replace the engine and you will be well on your way to a show quality Bronco or off-road beast. I must sell soon for family reasons so I do not have the time to take this truck to the next level.

Here is a short list of items I have restored:

· Rust Remediation, the driver, passenge, and rear bed floor pans have been replaced. There are new door jambs, and the passenger rocker panel is new. I replaced the front grill as it was too pitted to easily restore.

· As you can see in the photos there are a few small dents I purposely did not repair. This is a truck (and a 50-year-old truck at that). It would be unnatural if this truck had no dents!

· Engine work, new radiator and hoses, new carburetor, new gaskets on intake manifold, valve covers, exhaust headers, new petronix electronic distributor, new battery (Now 2 years old), new voltage regulator, new fuel pump, new alternator, wires, plugs (I am probably missing a few other small parts replaced)

· The brakes (Manual)work as good as they probably did when it left the factory. The master cylinder is new, the brake lines where necessary (about 50%) have been replaced and all four drum brakes have ALL new components.

· The drive train works great, the transmission, transfer box and front end all work fine, and I have had no need to replace anything. The drive shaft to the rear has new CV Joints and the 9” Rear has new axle and pinion bearings and seals and new lubricant.

· The exhaust was replaced 2 years ago.

· The exterior has been repainted to the original color.

· Interior, new carpet, new upholstery on front seats, rear seat is in good condition, new stereo, antenna, and speakers, and a new headliner.

· Steering, new steering rack, stabilizer shock and all new bushings. New steering column bushings and replaced “On the Tree” shifter steering column parts to get shifting working well.

· Miscellaneous; New wheels, Tires have Approximately 7,000 miles on them, wiper blades, new shocks, horn. I am certain I am missing a few other minor parts I have replaced but this is most of it.I have almost all the receipts which I will print and send with the vehicle.

This is a 50year old truck and is being sold AS IS – NO WARANTY.
