1993 Ford Mustang

For sale is my 1993 Ford Mustang GT Convertible 5.0. Please read the entire listing. I will be as detailed as I can be. The pictures speak for themselves. Just took the pics. The Mustang looks great. Starts right up and drives great. Here is the story. I bought this car on Ebay a few months ago out of Florida. First the good. Body and paint look great. Interior is in excellent condition. Rare for a Florida car. Runs, shifts, drives, stops etc all good. I did get a few brake lines replaced. Air blows cold. New compressor. Now for the bad. The seller I bought it from did acknowledge the strut towers were rusty. He did not mention the rest of the rust issues. I took it to my mechanic to get an estimate on the towers and it wasn't that bad until he told me the rest of the issues. Note I am from PA and PA has a very strict inspection process. There are a few spots on the floor that will require patches and some issues with frame rust. To get all of that done was more than I spent for the car. Just not worth it to me. Other states like Ohio that do not require inspection you can get in and drive. There are also issues with the speedometer. I do believe the mileage was true at 126K when I bought it but It is now true miles unknown. Something happened when I was driving it at about 35 MPH the speedometer was reading 185. The mileage was moving with miles instead of tenths. I have never seen that before. I think the Speedometer now reads about 180K. Strange. For all of these issues I am selling this Mustang AS IS. Assume it is a parts car. At least I am being honest. I think without the issues it is a 10K CAR. If I keep it I will put Antique plates on it and not need the inspection. The car is drivable as is. I don't know if I would drive any 27 year old car for a long distance without getting it checked out farther. I have it safely parked in a storage garage right now. Please do not bid unless you really intend to follow through. Not reading the entire listing is not an excuse. I am listing it locally and it can be sold at any time. I do not have a buy it now but will accept offers. I just listed the car. The pics look bad, I will update with a new set of pics soon. The car looks way better in real time than in the pics.
