1989 Ford F-150 44k original miles; Excellent condition; unmolested; 1 owner

1989 Ford F-150

This is an exceptionally clean 31 year old F-150 that is in all original condition with a very low 44k original miles. The original owner passed away on 1/9/20 and I purchased this from the family. Title was transferred to his grandson who I purchased the truck from. I did get a copy of the death certificate to verify he was the original owner. The truck was always garaged. The family told me they had a stack of every receipt for this truck including every gas fill up but it was up in a storage locker in Flagstaff and they were not sure when they could get it to me. So as of this writing I have no documentation to support the miles other then the obvious condition of the truck that certainly supports the low miles. The family has promised to get me the documentation when they are able. The truck is not perfect but is in excellent condition. It has brand new Hankook tires and the entire AC system was completely replaced. I do have all of the original AC components if the new buyer is interested. AC blows very cold!. It runs and drives beautifully. All gauges, lights, horn, cruise control and heat work as they should. Manual windows and door locks so they will not break like the electric ones. The truck was purchased in Iowa and spent the first 4 years there according to the family before moving to Arizona. It does show some light surface rust on the suspension components here and there but absolutely no structural rust or heavy corrosion. There is one spot on the body (see pic) a little bigger than my thumb where there is some paint bubbling but otherwise no rust on the body. Kind of a strange place for the paint to bubble but there it is. The paint is all original paint. The molding on the passenger's side between the cab and the rear wheel is slightly disfigured which can be seen in the pictures. They do sell this molding at LMC if this is something you want to address. The inside of the bed shows light wear but really is in great shape any you can tell this truck was babied it's whole life. Looks to have had a shell on it at some point as you can see some light rub marks where it sat on the bed rail. It has the 5.0 L V8 engine that runs great with no leaks of any kind. Does not overheat and starts immediately every time. Automatic trans shifts as it should. Tracks straight and brakes perfect. All windows roll up/down as they should and doors lock. Two sets of keys. Interior was never smoked in and looks almost brand new. Just a beautiful truck. I was hoping for a sunny day for the pictures as the truck really "pops" when the sun hits it. It's a dark metallic blue and the paint shines beautifully. Unfortunately today was a rare grey day here in Tucson. I can store the truck in the garage for a reasonable period of time to arrange shipping. I wouldn't be afraid to fly in and drive this truck anywhere if you are in the mood for a road trip.
