1951 Ford Other Pickups Custom Cab

I am listing an extra clean, straight and solid 1951 Ford F1 Native Oregon Short Box pickup. This truck has been pampered and kept up for many years. The old truck made a trip from themid west all the wayto Fairbanks Alaska without any issues, this truck is road worthy andready to make a trip anywhere at any time.

The truck is an older restoration with quite a few upgrades. The motor has been rebuilt and a 12 volt charging system with an alternator to replace the old school generator. The windshield wipers are electric. Windshield washers have been added. The original heater was replaced by an up to date heat and defrost unit which works so much better. Seat belts with theshoulder harness were added for safety purposes. The rear gears were replaced with a 3.00 gear ratio which makes it roll down the highway so much smoother at a higher speed.

The truck drives straight down the road, no wandering from one side of the road to the other, the brakes stop great and they stop straight with no pulling from one side to the other. The steering components are tight with no excessive play in the steering wheel, the truck steers very easy. The motor starts on the first half turn, no smoke, no misfiring, no unusual noises coming from the motor, ordrivetrain. The trans. and rear endare quiet. The shifter shifts smooth with no hanging up when changing gears. The clutch is as it should be, no slipping, orclutch chatter. There is a am / fm radio with excellent speakers, sounds great. The truck has all new glass and seals with no chips, cracks, or bubbles, the door seals were replaced. The doors close tight, no saggy hinges. The seat is very comfortable.

The cab floor, fenders and doors are clean, straightand solid, the last few pictures are the undercarriage. The box on this old truck is extremely straight, doesn't look like it's been a farm truck, more like a city driven truck.

This old truck is not being represented as a show truck by any stretch of the imagination, but rather a good dependable truck that can be driven and enjoyed without any issues. As you can see in the photos the paint is old and faded
