Up for sale is a very nice 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible in bright Red paint with beautiful white interior. This little Mustang has had a repaint over nice original California car when it lived in Arizona. (dry car) The paint is showing some ware with a few small nicks and scratches. The body looks to be rust free but there was a repair in the trunk at one time? (please look at pictures closely) The interior is mostly new with new carpeting, new upholstery on the seats front & back and a new dash pat was also added. A newer top was installed and it has the top cover around the rear when the top is lowered. looks good. It has tilt steering wheel, original center console with nice bucket seats and a very nice Sony Compact Disc Player was installed in the nice original dash. The top is a power top and works very well. All glass is good with only one very very small chips in the windshield no cracks and windows work as they should. The engine is the 351 Cleveland 2 V with 4 barrel carburetor and the engine was rebuilt in 2002 as was the automatic transmission. (runs strong, shifts solid) (good runner) Air conditioning has been installed but not finished, has A/C compressor and hoses into dash but there is no interior evaporator under dash. (needs finished) The car has power brakes, power steering and drives good. (We have receipts for engine transmission and many others receipts for work done) This is a good driver quality Mustang not a show car. Ford only built 11.853 Mustang Convertibles in 1973 as it was the last year of production for a decade, due to changes in government regulations. (It's hard to find a 1973 Mustang convertible) I'm listing this nice little Mustang for friends, who have decided to reduce some of there collection and I will take all questions to them.
