Here is a rare opportunity to buy a time capsule find, 1973 Ford Capri GT. The previous owner bought it from a die hard Capri lover that wanted to have his childhood car. Car was purchased in 1980s and 1983 had gone through a paint job restoration and since then the car has had regular oil changes and been garage kept, driven on the occasional summer weekends. The new owner is only selling because the kids are getting bigger and they want a Landrover Defender 110 for there camping adventures. The Capri has new brakes less than 1yr old all the way around including new calipers, reason for change was one of the calipers were sticky a bit, so decision was made to do the whole thing to be on the safe side for any long journey. The original Capri color was spruced up a bit with metallic copper, but the rest remains untouched. All the glass is original with the ford oem numbers. The seat belt chimes works if you dont belt up.
The motor is the 2.0 GT single overhead cam four cylinder, thats runs like new, just touch the key and it fires right up. Even leaving the car untouched or 7 to 8 months you never have too jump it or put air in the tires, so no electrical draw and no leaks in the tires. The transmission is 4 spd manual with lots of clutch left no tranny noise its nice and tight. The interior is a vinyl tan all original carpets, buckets seat, the dash has no sun cracks, everything works, all the gauges, lights and electrical. The only two flaws is there is 4 inch tear right in the seam on the driver seat bottom, and the radio. The owner has the original radio, comes with car but however it wont catch any stations. The trunks still contains the original spare tire. I listed with lots pictures that truly shows the quality and condition of the car.
