For Sale is this 1959 Ford Custom 300.







This was going to be a rat rod restoration 10 years ago, but the enthusiasm waned. I did put a lot of money in the body as the top was chopped off to make this a permanent convertible rat rod. The whole body was sanded and primed, (but may need re-blocking again) Since there is no top, the center door pillars were re-enforced with steel to prevent the pillars from shaking when the doors were closed.






This could be a great father/son project, or you could use the good & original 223 CI engine and 3 speed tranny, which is probably worth more than the price of the sale. I drove this car from Napa to Pine Grove (150 miles) and parked it ten years ago, (other than driving it to the body shop).
Its got a good original radiator and a original windshield (no cracks), which both are hard to find anymore. As you can see from the pictures, there are various parts for the cars, and I may have more parts for this car in my shed. The brakes need replacing all around.





Again, use it as a parts car and junk the body (which may get you an additional $50-100.00 at the re-cycle center) or make this the rat rod of your dreams.
