Beautiful 1964 Ford Galaxy 500 XL that is ready for some Miles!

This car is being offered from a private collector that enjoyed his cars by actually using them! Unfortunately, upon his passing the car has sat for the last 4 years and now is being sold. For starters, this car is a true big block (390),4 speed, air-conditioned ride. The car currently is housing a police interceptor 428 and top loader 4 speed at this time. The car also comes with the numbers matching 390! Have a way to load and ship it if desired! Now the 428 has an updated power pack including a cam and lifter upgrade along with an Edelbrock performer carburetor and electronic ignition. The car runs and drives great and has a nice lope idle which is always getting commented on how awesome it sounds! I will bullet point our inspection results by pros and cons as follows:

RUST FREE BODY (beautiful southern car!!) Body work and paint very nice quality

New wheel cylinders all 4 corners / brakes in great shape and adjusted

New fuel pump

Cools 170 degrees on normal temperature days (heat gauge operates correctly)

Fuel gauge works (new float and grounds cleaned)

New high beam bulbs / all lights, indicators and turns work as they should

New fuel filter

Brake fluid flush performed

New drive belt

New front wheel bearings and seals

New front brake hoses

Installed rear brake hardlines

Battery terminals new

Glass nice shape

Trunk floor and under hood painted beautiful

New starter cables and terminals

New coolant sending unit

4.10 limited slip rear axle

Speedo operates but calibration off because of 4.10 gear set

A/C inop.

Heater Core not hooked up / possible leaking core

Tires are old

Bumpers are slightly pitting in areas (good for driver quality)

Small Round Dent in center top of trunk (1/2” dia. who knows)

Rear brake hose is aged (but OK)

Transmission tail shaft weeping 80/90
