This listing is for (2) 1961 Ford Starliners (NO RESERVE). Gray primer car (originally blue) is the high-performance 390ci 375/401 horsepower 4 speed car with clear title. The black car is the parts car with bill of sale.This was a life long super stock race car. Odometer shows 21K miles. It has a May build date which is the first month of dealer installed 4 speed availability. This car is a true Z code high-performance 390ci 375hp / 401hp tri-power. It has the 3 inch Station Wagon brakes, the required heavy duty chassis equipment and (2) of its 15 inch Kelsey Hayes wheels. It is also a factory stick shift. It does not have power steering or power brakes. Please note this car's trim tag shows no axle code. It is blank, which may indicate that this car was built with a axle ratio lower than 3.90.Vintage super stock modifications include: modified rear spring packs, pinion snubber set up was run tight, right side air / coil bag, driveshaft loop, vintage front coil lifts, and vintage lift / traction tubes or bags (only brackets remaining).This car is a roller. It does not have a motor or trans. Although it is needing restoration and rust repair, car is solid enough foundation to build a race car or restore it to original. It has a very nice pit free straight frame and the inner rockers and under structures are not swollen in the seams. It will need quarter work, some floor work, some patches etc, and door bottoms.Large parts that are obviously missing: core support, hood, front bumper, inner fenders, motor and trans.There is almost one complete set of trim for the car minus one fender and one door piece which are the same as two door Galaxies. There are many duplicates like extra roof and quarter panel trim but some of the extras are bent but probably repairable. Also included are some extra fenders and grills. 61 Starliner parts car includes: roof, trim, rear glass and more. We can part out onsite or you can ship cars together.
