Description:

1972 Ford Mustang

This a 1972 Ford Mustang Grande Parts car. It’s bill of sale only no title. This was my brother’s and I’m managing his estate. I cannot find the title nor keys but I do know the history of the car for the last 30 years while it was in his possession. The car was last registered in Illinois but not for at least the last 23 years it was stored inside a dry garage. He installed a 460 with a C6 transmission and as you can see from the pictures, the engine compartment looks fairly clean and OE-like. The front clip of the car with hood, fenders, grill, and front bumper are in good shape so if you need a front clip for a 72 Mustang the price is right, and you can recover some cost with the sale of the 460 and C6. The rear truck and valance are also solid. The rest of the sheet metal is not. Bottom of doors and both rear quarters are in poor condition. The interior is rough. The front windshield is cracked. The rest of the glass is good. I believe the car was a 351c 2 Brl car originally. The 460 was pulled from 77 Continental Mk IV, and the C6 from a 78 Mercury Marquis. The car ran and was driven into the garage under its own power 23 years ago. I believe it has been started a number of times since then but I can’t say when last. The oil looks good and the engine turns freely and I suspect it would start with just a little coaxing but I haven’t tried. It has cast iron exhaust manifolds. At minimum, the engine and trans would be good rebuildable cores but from memory they were in good condition when they were pulled from their donor cars and he intended to run them as installed. The car is located in Rock Island, Illinois near Black Hawk State Park for pick up only. It’s on wheels and rolling and can be pulled onto a trailer. Also included is a new/replacement drivers side rear quarter as shown.Best I can do from memory fellas. Paypal or Cash on pick up.

I was advised by another eBayer that based on the pics and the VIN this is actually a 1973 not a 1972.
