BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car has been in AZ pretty much its whole life.
Starts, runs and runs great. Shows aprox 79k miles on it and
its original miles too. The AOD was just rebuilt by a very reputable
local performance trans shop. The original Regatta blue paint is
very sun faded. The best this about this car other then being totally
rust and rot free is, how its never been modded. Its all original
under the hood, down to the stock mufflers. I even think it still has
the original Motorcraft spark plug wires on it. Because its a 5.0 it
runs like a bat out of hell. Some folks feel you need a 5 spd behind a
5.0, I can strongly say thats not always true. Its no wonder why many
states used these coupe for Highway Patrol cars and for law enforcement
back in the day. Interiors not to bad for its age too, again all stock.
Personally, if I kept it, Id doa few repairs to the interior,
add some tunes, maybe do some new weatherstripping and take it to
cruise nites just like that :) and drive it all the time!

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.

DRIVETRAIN: factory original matching #s 5.0 engine and AOD the
way Ford built it in 1988. Just driven as is and enjoyed for aprox
80k miles. Its always had oil changes as needed too, but the car
was more of a second car for its previous 2 owners.Runs well
and pulls hard like how it was intended, but the car has been
owned buy an older folks its whole life, hence no mods and just
a well taken care of engine.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has taken its toll on
alot of it, but in some areas its not bad. It does look decent in the
Pics but it has some flaws after 50 yrs. Its fine for a daily driver
but if you want to restore it, pretty much every part you need is
available. Stock radio still works too, volumn button a little touchy.
AC blows cool but not cold like it did last yr. Did not notice the
typical dr seat lean or broken floor while driving it, which is rare.
Dont recall if all the gauges still work, but think the oil pressure gauge
needle not moving, prob a bad sending unit. Just recently the
speedo quit working after we had the trans done. Not sure why.
Another cool feature on this car, ....non power windows :)

EXTERIOR:the body very rot free and never modded.
While backing up several yrs ago in a parking lot, the LF fender
and a bit of the dr door did get some some low speed damage.
Doesnt effect its driving at all, but never got fixed. Its pretty minor
for the most part. Bolt on another fender, fix the door and its pretty
much fixed. but not too major. Rest of the car is very clean.
The car did avoid your typical eastcoast rust and rot, spending most of its life in AZ and still wearing whats left of the original blue paint. If you want to see any other areas up close, ask me. Dr door lock looks damaged
and will need to be replaced. Ford emblems also toasty.
Solid nice car overall. Check out all the pics carefully .
The one and only mod Ive done to the car was install a nice set of good
quality LED 9004 Headlight bulbs for safety and to bring the headlights
up to modern technology. I used the a brand our shop sells the most
of and it made a dramatic difference in being able to see at night.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
make out, basically the way it came out of the factory except
some stuff replaced over the yrs from normal wear n tear.
Sits nice and rides nice too, but I do hear some clunking in the
front end, so it either needs ft control arm bushings and or new
front struts. Rest of the cars suspension and brakes feel great.
Tires are getting old sitting on the factory 10 hole rims. Ive been
so tempted to paint them black like the police cars, but never
did.

Probably The BEST represented Stang on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
