1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Restoration project 6 cyl. Auto VERY nice interior

1966 Ford Mustang CONVERTIBLE

This car needs complete restoration. It has been off the road 15 years, and it was in dry storage. (I have NO paperwork for this car, you will get a bill of sale from me, and that is all there is!) The entire middle of the car needs to be done. The nose is very good. I only see a couple small rust holes, on one fender. Both door are junk. The trunk lid looks nice. The interior is very nice! Even the steering wheel doesn't have any cracks in it! The dash is very nice, and I don't see any rips in the seats. The door panels, AND the rear side panels are very good as well. The rear seat frame is good. (some times they rust out) I turned the engine over by hand, so that is not stuck. I was told it drove in to the garage under it's own power 15 years ago. The top was down the whole time it was in the garage, so it won't latch now, it seems like it shrunk. The top and rear window need to be replace. The top isn't torn, but has a couple rips, but the back window is junk. I don't see that this car has ever been hit, everything seems to line up nice (except the doors, do to the rust on the underside.) Most of the front frame rails are good, especially where all the steering bolts on. There is some rust behind the driver's side bumper bracket, and a few other small spots I see. NO RESERVE! PLEASE do not ask me to end the auction early, I won't. REMEMBER, I have NO PAPERWORK on this car. You will get a bill of sale from me only.
