Up for auction is a 100% original 1968 ford Country Sedan Wagon with 82,000 original miles.
Vehicle was always garage kept. The original paint still retains a nice shine. It has light scratches and a some dents and dings but it has wonderful patina! The body and undercarriage are in very good condition. the only rust on the car is in the two rear doors and the left rear quarter panel see pics. The undercarriage only has one extremely small spot of rust under the passenger side floor under the driver seat see pics, with that being the exception.
Vehicle is equipped with a 390, 2 barrel, automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, power rear window and tailgate opens 2 ways (right to left and down like a truck tailgate) am radio, dealer installed aftermarket locking hood latch.
Vehicle has new brakes, wheel cylinders, tires, wheels, fluids flushed and changed, it just cost just over $1,900.00 dollars to have the transmission completely rebuilt by Level 10 Performance Transmission with a heavy duty converter and a shift kit.
Vehicle runs and drives extremely well. It can be driven with complete confidence. This wagon is a true blast to drive, its get a lot of attention whenever its out on the road. When is the last time you've seen one, not to mention one that is 100% original. The original color combination is stunning.
Vehicle is a true time capsule. What makes it so cool is the original patina and the way it runs and drives. It has plenty of power with the optional 390. Every option in the vehicle work properly. The air condition will need a charge but it is all there and hooked up.
Vehicle is totally unmolested. The original hubcaps will go with the sale of the car.
Vehicle doesnt have the optional rear seats in the rear. Its a large storage compartment. Original jack and spare.
