1932 Ford Other Pickups

This is a really great 1932 Ford BB truck. It has quite the story. This is a farm truck that came out of Rockland, Idaho, where it sat undisturbed for years. It's very complete missing only the hood, ammeter, windshield swing arm, and bumper (and a few small odds and ends). You'll notice a slight orange hue to the body. This was due to it being registered as a school bus during WW2 so the owner could get around rationing. I corrected this when I applied for a new title and it is now titled as a truck. As far as the condition goes, it's on the more decent side and quite complete.

The body is solid with a few extra holes here and there. It's pretty straight. There is rust-out along the bottom bead on the back portion of the cab. This is fairly common on these vehicles. The passenger door is in better than average condition. There is a small spot of rust-out on the exterior/bottom portion of the door. The bottom hinge area was repaired at some time in the past with a pice of scrap iron. The drives door has some rust out on the inner and the outer door bottom in addition to a strap being welded on the outside. It has a similar repair to the lower hinge area.

It has all it's wood and the seat springs are there. The bottom seat spring will need repair or replacement. It has the original column drop and the key is still there. It also has the original vacuum wiper motor. The nickel on the dash is peeling and it has a 90 mph speedometer and the original gas gauge. It still has the original transmission cover and glove box from the passenger side.

The hood is not original to the vehicle. The hood vent works and sits a little crooked while closed. The grille is solid with some denting. The top of the grille was cut around the radiator cap to accommodate what I believe is a '33 radiator. It has the original emblem as well.

The headlights are solid and very clean. They are missing the lenses and the reflectors will need to be re-silvered.

I believe that the motor is a 1933 or 1934. It has a Stromberg 48 carburetor and original air cleaner. The plugs are out and the holes are oily. Beyond that, I don't know the condition of the motor. It has the large transmission with the inspection cover that has the grease cap for greasing the throwout bearing hub. It also has the hard to find '32 clutch arm as well. The firewall is better than average. It has both feet though they are cracked and will need repair. It also has the V8 throttle linkage. The frame is solid and close to complete thought the front crossmember has been cut on the front a little bit.

It's missing a few brake rods and I believe the front axle is out of a Model A AA truck. It rolls just fine which should accommodate loading. Please look closely at the photos and send me a message with any questions.
