The only time a V8 option was available in a first generation Falcon FUTURA was the 1963 1/2 model and these cars were produced in very limited numbers!
Straight-six convertibles are easy to find but a factory V8 convertible unrestored and complete it´s a different story.
1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible, 260 F code engine, needs restoring but it’s a complete solid car, 68 Ford wheels and hubcaps go with it as well as a Holley carburator and Cobra valve covers on the engine.
This car was storedfor quite some time. Appears to be all original except forthe paint color.Rocker panels have surface rust but don’t appear to have holes in them, also rust on the lower quarter panels. 260 cubic inch V8engineandautomatictransmission allseem original.
The car dataplate reads: color Viking Blue, Trim 82A blue vinyl with blk top, Date 03E,DSO Washington, axle 4 3.25:1, Trans 3 2sp fordomatic, body 76B Sports Convertible FUTURA.
The trunk lid and hood are ok, as is the trunk gutter area also front and rearframe Rails, torque boxes, cowl vents, firewall, rocker Panels, wheelhouses, cross member, front grilland bumpers appear solid.
Car is sold with a notarized bill of sale(sold as is)and theoriginal title with my name on the back from when I bought the car a few years back from the original owner.
