I'm selling my 1966 Ford Galaxie.I bought it about 4 years ago, planning on restoring it to its former beauty, but life got in the way. Initially I bought it without a drive train, but with a lot of parts (some not shown in the pictures, like gas tank, trim, air filter, etc.). A year later I bought a drive train from a friend who was just about to convert his '66 Galaxie to a 390" engine and different tranny. I drove his car with the 289" that comes with my car listed, it ran smooth, and shifted flawlessly. In retrospect I wished I'd done a video clip on the engine running, unfortunately I didn't, but be assured, the engine and tranny are solid!
With the car comes the engine (pictured), tranny (pictured), lots of parts (most of them originally came with this car) (some shown in pictures, some not), and some extra parts I took off of a 1967 Galaxie (wheels, trim, window cranks).This car has been in Arizona all its life, been parked since 1987. It's missing the driver seat/bench, but I'm sure the '67 bench will fit with some mods.I bought an extra set of gauges with are in great condition.The body is very straight except some bruising to the left front, the trunk lid (which got fixed a few years back), and the rear bumper has some damage.There is rust on both sides, lower rear quarter panels. I started fixing it, but never got to finish it. Except those two areas, the body and frame are in great condition rust-wise.This auction is for the complete car/parts! I will not part it out! It needs to go to a good home.I took way more pictures (about 80 total) than I was able to post.
