Cool Classic Rides DA8690, is very excited to offer up for sale, this absolutely iconic symbol of our Hot Rod legacy, and just plain 1950s Cool. We have available a very nice 1956 Ford F100 Short Bed step side. This awesome classic, is powered by a fully built Big Block 460 V8, and an automatic tranny. We are currently overloaded with project trucks and have decided to offer this beautiful Hot Rod to some lucky person, so they can put their own finishing touches on it. This 1956 muscle machine has a nicely installed 1975 Lincoln front clip. So, it cruises down the road with, power steering, power brakes, and even air conditioning (needs serviced) and tilt wheel. The only rust we have seen is on the driver floorboard. The body is in amazing rust-free condition, and it is about as straight as you will ever find. This ford classic, has a very nice wooden bed, trimmed out in chrome strips, and a very straight tail gate. This looks to be an extremely high-end restoration, that was done probably 25-30 years ago. It sits perfectly with a very tough stance, that is ready to rumble. And speaking of rumble, you should hear this beast of a 460, fire up with the long and lean true dual headers, and exhaust. It has very nice split bucket seats, with a center flip down console, also in excellent shape. Done in a grey interior fabric, that will go with any color scheme. This beauty is also sitting on very nice classic chrome wheels, that are a perfect fit for this Retro Rod. This is a classic truck, in very hard to find, nice condition. The forward lift front end, and the great body, make this truck a paint job, and some tinkering away from being ready for show season. I grew up in the 70s, and I’m telling you.... even back then a 1956 Ford Pickup, was about as iconic and sought after as anything out there. These trucks are all gone and bringing huge money worldwide. This truck has all the very hard, and very expensive stuff done. She fires right up and tears down the road.
