AND SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THIS CAR, PERIOD.
This is one of my fav personal cars Ive had about 20 yrs now
But think its time to let it go so others can enjoy it. I love this
car, but also need to thin the heard some as I only drive it like
once every few months. You cant drive it anywhere without
people breaking their necks trying to get a look at it while in
traffic. Its been in the restoration stage for the last 15 yrs while
also being a driver once in a while
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car came from the factory in Grabber Orange and its been
here in AZ or NM for many yrs. When I got it, it was faded blue
and I decided to paint it back to the original color. Ive only put
maybe a few thousand miles on the car in the last 15 yrs.
It looks great at any angle, but does still needs some work and
sad to say I see the paint lifting on the hood which Im not to
happy about. For 15 yr old paint thats never been garaged much
I guess I cant complain but. Currently the car has some 2003 Mach 1
17" wheels and tires on it (as youll see in the various pics, Ive had
probably 3 or more sets of rims on the car over the yrs) It always
runs and starts for me, a little cold blooded sometimes. Trans has a
small leak and after a few months it needs a quart of ATF.
Also, the dashpad is just set back in for now for driving purposes, but
I had it out a few months ago working on the AC ducts and some
wiring I was trying to clean up. Not to mention its cracked now and
I was going to replace it anyways. Leave as is or Im sure some people may
want to make it their own and change some stuff. I believe the mileage to
be original or close.
Best of all is the lack of rot and rust most of these cars experienced
after 45+ yrs. Lots more info below:
I was rinsing the car off today after taking the cover
off and found a few more flaws in the paint. Specifically
pass door and top of trunklid. Hard to see unless you are
right on it, but wanted to point it out. I dont want to oversell the
car, and its NO show car, but still a great car to
own, finish restoring the interior and personally Id leave
the paint as is and just enjoy it. It still has alot going for it
but could use some more work in areas. Mostly now
Interior (and paint repair) if the new owner wanted to.
Mechanically the car has No major issues at all.
IM going to add some updated pics by Wed trying to show
the areas with the issues. Could prob use a nice coat of
wax too on the top of the car mostly. Its been under a cover
off and on in the AZ sun for 15 yrs now, and some of the
pics above are from last Summer.

Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: I believe the engine is the original 302 2v motor
along with the C4 trans etc. Motor makes no weird noises and
runs great for its age. Only mod on under the hood are the 86
Mustang GT Finned aluminum valve covers. AC is all connnected
but not been charged for several yrs. Just a nice clean original
looking 70 Sportsroof you could drive all the time and enjoy.
Trans shifts great, Ive even got a 2nd gear scratch from time to
time not even trying. Original hwy gears in the 8" rear.
I had a nice factory style dual exhaust installed a few yrs ago
Using Magnaflow muffers with oem style turn downs in the rear.
Sound perfect if you ask me.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, its used but works fine
for a driver. Originally it did have a white interior, it was changed
to what you see now before I bought it. If I kept it I would easily
change it back to the white, such a awesome combo and rare.
As mentioned before the dashpad is loose and not fully bolted in
at the moment, pretty sure all the gauges work, minus the gas gauge
for some reason and I did put a new sender in a few yrs ago.
Aftermarket CD player works fine. I did install new door weather
stripping about 5 yrs ago on both door and body. Also has new trunk
seal too. So you have to give the doors a little more push when closing
them because its still so new. Dr door only opens from the inside
if I have time Ill pull the panel off and fix the clip.
EXTERIOR:the body very straight for it and was very
clean before we painted it. Its a bummer the paint is having
the issues on the hood, but I think it could be fixed and blended
easy enough where for a drive it would be fine. Its not a show
car. I did paint the rear panel for a Boss look and added the Ft
Spoiler too. I also I did a sequential LED brake light kit too yrs
ago, which failed a few yrs ago. The company sent me a new module
for under the dash, I dont think Ive installed it yet. Im also pretty
sure I have the outter rear window trim for the car too. Never
got around to popping it back on, the black look back there
really didnt bother me. The rear window seal was replaced during
the repaint yrs ago. The front may be too. I had plans on keeping
this car formany more yrs. But I have like 15 cars and dont take the
time to drive it more. Ive had alot of fun with it. You cant drive down
the road without people giving you thumbs up and people wanting
to see it when you are getting gas. It commands alot of attention
Even AS IS with the paint issues, people love it.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
Only thing I did on it where some shocks over the years and
think I did some bushings up front 1500 miles ago. I DID add
the 1" rear blocks in the back to drop the car, but after that I
didnt touch the front because it sat fine. Steers and handles
very well for its age. I was going to do a quicker ratio box if
I ever needed to rebuild it.
Minimal rust or rot on the car, nothing like an Eastcoast car.
The AZ climate has been good to this car. Maybe the lower door
edge may have a few bubbles at worst.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

Probably The BEST represented Stangs on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Survivors are getting harder to find ! I know alot of people
Would want to BOSS clone this car, but to me its a nicer
car then that.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

UPDATE: a potential buyer just looked at the car and pointed out
a few more areas the car had paint flaws on the roof etc. Looks like
checking to me. So if you are expecting perfect paint front to back
please dont. I tried taking pics of the other areas then the hood, but
its hard to see in the pics. Still drove it today to pick up my daughter
at school, was fun.
