1957 Ford Other Custom Gasser Car

This 63,000 original mile barn find 197 Ford Custom 300 Post was found in a barn in Iowa. Has MOSTLY ORIGINAL PAINT, dash sheet metal, fenders, trunk lid, hood, roof, doors, and quarter panels. This car was built into a Old School Gasser following the Sothern Gasser Rules for the 1960's. The Engine is a built 1968 FE 390 engine with 1964 heads, was a custom built in house, it is 60 over with extensive machine work. The Transmission is a 4 speed top loader manual. The Rear-end is a Ford 9" with a Detroit Locker. Front Wheels are RARE 1965 Shelby GT 350 Mustang, and the Rear are old school Appliance Rims. Everything is new--Engine, Drivetrain, Axles, ETC. It has been updated with New floor pans, rockers & trunk floor (All paint sealed with Lizard Skins inside & out.) The interior is one off Special made by Michael Lightburn in Mexico. The graphics on car was done by Cedar River Signs and the Hand (Old School) done by Rick Nootnagel. All rust was done in house to match car (chemically made). New modern wiring harness by Kwik Wire. Custom made headers to fit car. This car was A SEMA Featured Vehicle in the Stewart Warner Gauges Booth in Las Vegas last fall 2019.
