There is much that can be said about the car that you see pictured above.

1973 was a banner for the Ford Mustang however “being the last classic model to be released has made these models highly sought afterâ€!
Now in its third year after the major model change many committed enthusiasts jumped on the bandwagon.
Though the cars grew exponentially handling was much better than its generation one predecessors (fun to drive)!
This 73 model was ordered by a gentleman who actually worked for Littleton Ford in Kansas City.
By all accounts he truly enjoyed utilizing it as a daily driver for many years.
However the car eventually came to rest in his pole barn sometime in the late nineties.
It would only be driven sparingly after being shelved because of new priorities and different obligations.
Upon retirement “Mustang ownership was transferred to his son who slowly began restoring itâ€.
This meticulous process would not culminate until years later.
Since he and his father both cherished the car emphasis was stressed on having things done right. That goal was certainly accomplished!
It is very easy to appreciate the vehicles overall appearance.
The original (4Q code Dark Green Metallic) color was brought back to life with help from a custom & classic restoration shop known for quality work.
They eliminated the factory lacquer paint and laid down a superior blend of base coat / clear enamel.
The exterior finish is very impressive and draws attention soon as the garage door is lifted!
Stark black aggressive accents have been incorporated that really shakes up things outside!
Each body panel is properly aligned & on target with manufacturer specifications.
There is no damage to speak of and the exteriors contour is commendable.

Right out of the gate you will take notice of Ford’s iconic N.A.S.A hood that is paired with a race ready front chin spoiler!
Perfectly situated outback is a N.O.S rear wing that also helps to enhance appearance package!

Each fender has a sharp set of matte black hockey stripes and MACH 1 badges “perfect touchâ€!
A Raven black tail panel and new gas cap can be found on the center section.
New grille moldings were installed to seal the deal.
This big body Mustang is shielded by an ebony black convertible top that was also replaced recently.
The contrast is truly amazing and noteworthy.
Many enthusiasts overlook the need to service the top pump, cylinders & lines regularly.
There’s no need to worry with this one it has been maintained properly & lowers in perfect fashion.
The door glass and front windshield are crystal clear along with the rear curtain.
All lights & signal markers spring to life on command.
The rear bumper has been replaced with an N.O.S. quality component.
At the end of the day this vintage Ford is ready to be fully enjoyed!

Now that we have covered the bases concerning the exterior let’s see what she has to offer inside!
This model came equipped with a deluxe style interior.
Although subtle in nature it helps us to recall a time when cars were assembled with character.
Once the door is opened luxury appointments can easily be detected.
A pair of factory black high back buckets are locked in place up front.
Located centrally in back is a near flawless rear bench seat.
Each deluxe style door panel is in pristine condition and wood grain appliqué ornaments are attached.
There is a functioning map light, console & pristine glove box (light working properly there also).
The analog throw back gauges are still tucked in their proper place along with a superior factory steering wheel.
The dash pad is in excellent shape as well.
To top things off a set of custom MUSTANG BULLITT pony floor mats were added to safeguard the carpet.
The quarter trim is laced with door speakers and an old school ash tray.
In closing I would call the overall interior condition inviting and comfortable.
Now……. once you say the word classic Mustang “everyone wants to know†what’s underneath the hoodâ€!
This particular blue oval product was fortunate enough to leave Fords assembly plant with the revered 351 power plant!
The H Code block is held in high esteem by almost every collector involved with the hobby.
Better yet the stock engine has only had to endure a little bit over 66k miles of usage!
There is an immediate and distinct difference that you will experience once behind the wheel.
Being a two owner family car really makes this vintage Ford special.
The original block is in excellent shape and performs without issue.
