1949 Ford Woodie Wagon. This car is all original with the Ford V8 flathead motor, three speed manual transmission with column shifter. Original 6 volt system that runs and operates perfect. Radio, clock, heater, wipers, lights everything works. This Woodie has been in the same family for over 70 years, 1949 to 2019. The family bought it new from the dealer and I have the Dealer sales receipt along with all the paperwork plus a large photo album of all those years of use. Parades, car shows, etc. I bought it in Feb. 2019 from the Grandson who told me he was not a car guy and it just sat in his garage. The car has always been garaged. The motor runs perfect, starts right up every time, runs smooth with no smoke and cruises down the highway at 50-55 with no issues. Steering is great. All the gauges work as they should. Transmission and clutch are smooth and quiet. New brakes, tires, tune up, oil and filters. It was repainted the original birch gray color back in 1989 and is still in great condition. The wood was all restored at that same time. The wood was again refreshed in 2010 and it has a beautiful high varnish shine. It has a new headliner, all seats were professionally re- done and new carpet installed. Having the original third seat is hard to find these days and makes it so complete. All glass is intact and work as they should, roll up and down and the rear slide back and forth. No rust can be found anywhere on the car. It has 52,345 original miles and runs beautiful. If you are looking for a turn key beautiful original Woodie ready for car shows and to cruise around in, this is it. I am asking a reasonable price so if you are looking for a quality Woodie you can’t go wrong here. We towed it down to San Diego in an enclosed trailer this last Sept. to the Wavecrest Woodie show and cruised around the beach towns with over 250 of the most beautiful woodies in the world, what a blast.
