1968 Ford Falcon Pro Touring

1968 Ford Falcon Pro Touring is truly a modern machine in a classic body. After all, with a fully-independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, LED headlights, A/C interior, overdrive transmission, and a fuel-injected V8, this is a seriously custom machine offered for quite a nice price.

We don't see too many third-generation Falcons out on the road. That's a bit of a shame, because they seem to have a nice mix of European and American styles. We could go on about the classic design, but that's not what attracted you to this one. Instead, this instantly announces it's a custom machine with its sleek black presentation. Painted bumpers, blackout rear lights, and expertly deleted trim (including the door handles) give it a modern and speedy look. This one only uses brightwork sparingly and purposely, like on the grille to draw attention to the LED headlight upgrades. And those 17-inch Billet Specialties alloys give this the stance of a modern performance machine.

The key fob has remote door openers. It's you first indication of a custom interior, but it's far from you last. The inside, this is just like the exterior in that you get a full blackout package with just the right amount of bright accenting. You can tell there has been a nice investment in the fundamentals, from the taut seats to the plush carpeting. But what you really will love is the full upgraded experience. Bucket seats, a center console, power locks, power steering, cruise control, and power windows make this feel like a modern car. You even get to stay comfortable with R134a air conditioning. The stereo is a modern infotainment system that not only offers a touchscreen AM/FM/CD interface, but it also has a navigation system, Bluetooth, and backup camera. You'll love slipping behind the black and chrome steering wheel and viewing the well-integrated modern gauge package. It lets you know there's something modern under the hood, too.

One look at the engine bay, and you can tell this is something far more modern powering this classic Falcon. They kept it in the Ford family when looking for a new powerhouse, and they really picked out one of the best. It's a 4.6-liter V8 from a Lincoln Mark VIII, and the consignor states it was rebuilt about 30k miles ago. This fuel-injected powerhouse is a DOHC 32-valve motor found in some of the best Mustangs of the day. And it has even been upgraded further with a cold air intake, upgraded radiator w/electric fan, and correct distributorless electronic ignition. And this is far more than just a motor transplant. You have a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive and four-wheel disc brakes. And as you look underneath, you'll discover a fully independent suspension expertly integrated into this Falcon.

This is the cool custom that can literally run circles around the rest of the 1960s cars. It's an all-around awesome build, and so you know it won't stay with us long at such an affordable price. Call today!!!
