GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe for purchase. For the 4th Generation of the Fairlane moniker, Ford moved the line to all mid-size offering to compete with the GM A-body platform. While the platform produced several different variations, the Hardtop Sorts Coupe was an exciting edition to the muscle car fray.This Fairlane features a very healthy 460 v8 that is bored out to a 501 with 540 horsepower. The engine is brand new and has less than 50 miles on it and still has the break in oil in it. It features Edelbrock Aluminum heads, Headers, Holley 750 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Hurst 4 speed shifter, 373 gears with a Ford 9 inch rear end. The car has less than 100 miles on it after a body off restoration. This car shows very well cosmetically both inside and out and is a blast to drive. It is finished in Wimblton white over a Palomino interior.
