1951 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup Gasser

hello...due to recentcircumstances in my life forces sale of my 1951 ford f-1 shortbed 'gasser pickup.i have invested damn near $18k and 2 years of hard work and time in this build. this hotrod is a driver and not a trailer queen, it was built for reliability, looks, & performance in mind. i bought this truck as a rolling shell becausei loved the patina and hadthe vision in mind to turn it into a unique one of a kind gasser that you see here now. it was put together with as many vintage and rare period correct speed parts that could be found. it runs down the road tight and solid and straight..and at 80mph highway speed too. it is chevrolet powered with a mildly built 60s corvette 327, bored .030 over with early double hump heads, 480 lift hydraulic flat tappet cam and gear drive. super rare offenhauser dual port tunnel ram with dual 450cfm holley carbs, hooker super competition fenderwell headers that dump into real 70's thrush mufflers to keep noise to a minimum, aluminum 4core desert cooler radiator..runs 180 degrees all day long in the summer heat! new oem gas tank and 12v sender, all new heavy duty custom motor and trans mounts, its shifted by a muncie m-21 4-speed transmission with a hurst competition plusshifter and newzoom clutch flywheel and pressure plate, rear end is an early ford 9" 4.11 posi traction unit hooked up to custom built 4-foot ladder bars (crutches). the dash was left uncut and is fairly original, and all wiring is new also along with a nice 12volt windshield wiper system. has a vintage style chrome dixco tach mounted on top of the dash and all vintage stewart warner 2 5/8 gauges under dash, am/fm cassette stereo, comfortable black bench seat along with a custom bent 3-point nostalgic roll bar. lots of other vintage goodies such as an old dragster parachute, fiberglass harwood snorkle hoodscoop, old aluminum moon 2gallon fuel tank up front, tow tabs, brand new cragar s/s mag wheels all around mounted on mickey thompson sportsman tires..the hoosier slicks were too radical for street use. red gasser tint was used on the windows. i have all new glass and weatherstrip for the truck in boxes along with new door window regulators..all not installed but come with truck. there is so much more to list....ask any questions you want to know. i built this rod personally and know everything about it, i been building hotrods for 40 years andi like things done right. this truck is fast, fun to drive,& very reliable, itis driven oftenand has been seen at many goodguys events and nsra streetrod meets. it draws a crowd and is loved by everyone at the local cruise nights. you cant build this truck for the pricei am asking..and its more than fair to anyone.i hate to let it go.....but my loss is to your advantage.i have a clean pennsylvania antique title in hand, and its sold as is with no warranties or refunds exspressed or implied. transport cost is responsibility of the winning bidder. i will help as much as possible to load it safelyand work with your transport company, do not..i repeat do not bid unless you plan on completing the transaction. cash in person is best if you are local, if not i will only accept a certified bank draft if your out of state. truck doesnot leave my garage until funds clear my bank.again any questions feel free to ask,, photos are part of the description also. you are more than welcome to come see it and inspect before bidding.buy with confidence, my feedback speaks for itself.thanks for viewing my auction, good luck. tony7047On Oct-18-19 at 02:05:13 PDT, seller added the following information:
