1932 Ford Highboy. Recent winner of the "Escondido Cruisin' Grand Top 5." Built 3 years ago, but with new custom paint (copper color / aztec red), finished in May 2019. Custom Roadster patterned after the 30's Salt Flat Racers. a small block Chevy 327 with a mild cam, and 700R4 Automatic + Overdrive with Lokar shifter. Headers and 2 inch stubbed pipes turned down below seats. Roll bar, Bomber seats, leather interior. Disc brakes, engine turned dash and lucky #7 on the doors to match dash. Autometer gauges to give that vintage look, 4 link front and rear suspension, chrome dropped axle, chrome shocks, chrome steering linkage. Frame painted to match the car, and is boxed on the inner rails for strength. Glass body with steel louvered hood and steel grill. Billet interior complete with gas and brake pedals. Original steering wheel with working horn and turn signals and a new drive shaft. Less than 11,000 miles on 327 engine. MSD ignition with new plugs and wires, Holly 4 barrel. Car runs really cool, doesn't exceed 180 on water temp. Electric fan preset to go on at 175 degrees. Checkered firewall with various removable hot rod stickers to complete the hot rod look.
