1956 Ford F-100 Custom Cab

ENGINE

1995 Mark VIII 4.6 DOHC. All aluminum 32 valve V8. Motor is stock except shorty headers and Accell coil packs. Wiring harness is not a retrofit, purchased a complete harness from WireWorks. Had the valve covers ground smooth and triple plated chrome. Aluminum Radiator manufactured by American Eagle, rated for 700hp. Has a 3000cfm electric fan. Even in traffic, motor does not overheat.

4R70W 4 speed automatic trans with Ford 8.8 rearend 3.08 gears.

SUSPENSION

Front IFS is from a '77 Pontiac Trans AM, the rear is from a '92 Crown Vic, 8.8 rearend. 4 wheel power disc brakes, Power steering. Drives and handles well.

17 inch American Racing TTO wheels with New Falken tires.

INTERIOR

Original dash removed and installeda 1956 Ford Fairlane dash, much nicer than the original truck dash. Custom chrome guage plates with Dolphin gauges and accent plates with original '56 Fairlane radio (upgraded to play FM). Dash really makes the interior. The floor was treated with duramat for insulation and sound deadening. Custom Black and Cream Leather interior was installed with Rod Doors on both the doors and headliner. The bench seat has 3 point shoulder harnesses, center seat belts and a driver side folding arm rest. The removable center Console houses the electronics for the engine. Steering features tilt-telescopic adjustments.

BODY

The body has had the following modifications:

• The cowl and side vents were removed.
• The doors have had the corners rounded and shaved. They open by solenoids.
• The badging has been removed.
• Rear fenders have been widened and the factory taper straightened.
• The tail lights have been custom inserted in the fenders.
• The rear fenders have also been altered to be the same length as the roll pan.
• The bed is solid oak with the fuel tank underneath with a cool cap.
• Hood has reverse BMW style kit.
