Very Hard to Find Truck in This Condition. 3rd Owner and I Have All Maintenance Records Dating Back to 1993 With The History of Truck. 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 2WD With All of The Options You Could Ever Want/Need. Factory AC, CB, Intermittent Wipers, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Cruise Control, Dual Gas Tanks, Trailer Brake Controller And More Listed on The Marti Report Which is Included. The truck received a full mechanical restoration 5yrs ago which included the original engine being rebuilt, balanced, performance cylinder heads/intake installed and larger camshaft. The C6 automatic transmission was rebuilt and shift kit added. Truck runs very well and will cruise down the freeway at 70 with no issues or vibrations etc. The larger camshaft is noticeable and sounds very nice! This truck will get up and go, no expense was spared during the mechanical restoration. HD 60 series DANA with 3.73 gears and limited slip differential. I took it off for a car show but also included is a professional grade GemTop steel canopy. This truck gets a lot of attention wherever you drive it so be prepared! The original paint still presents very well and you can see there is NO RUST and NO hidden surprises or filler in this one. The bed has two indented spots that can be easily fixed which you can see in pictures (passenger side of bed lower in front of rear tire and drivers side in rear of bed near rear bumper). Rockers, Roof, Doors, Drip Rails, etc. are all solid. All body trim is complete, lines up accurately and is in nice condition. The interior is very clean also. All door panels are in nice condition which is hard to find on the crew cabs. I have owned the truck for a short period of time and the only reason I am selling is to buy another home so a few of my toys must go. The three items that I notice that need addressed is (1) AC needs recharged but everything is there and complete (2) windshield glass has a crack (3) When using the rear gas tank the sending unit will sometimes read inaccurately. To fix #2 and #3 I bought a brand new fuel sending unit for the rear tank and I also ordered a front windshield seal and at the same time ordered a rear seal as well from LMC Truck that will be included with sale. Whether you are looking for a very nice collector grade crew cab, an awesome tow rig or the perfect candidate for a 4X4 conversion this truck has tons of potential! I will regret selling this one but at the moment priorities have shifted. I have also attached a picture of the truck from 1995 when it was taken to Glacier National Park on one of many family road trips. I have the right to end the auction early at anytime.
