Up for auction is an incredibly well preserved, one owner, 1986 Ford F150 XLT 4x4. This truck is in all original, unmolested condition and shows very well. This truck sold new at Sound Ford of Renton, WA on December 2, 1985 and has remained in the Pacific Northwest its entire life. The originalowner saved every last piece of documentation on this truck from theoriginal purchase along with every receipt for parts andmaintenance dating back to 1986. Theoriginal build sheet still remains under the driver's side of thebench seat. This F150 is equipped with almost everyfactory option available for the year including power windows, power locks, A/C, cruise control, AM/FM radio and tilt wheel. The cruise control is not currently working, but all of the other power options are in working order. The interior of this F150 is all original and is in excellentcondition. The dash is free of anymajorcracking in the dash pad orplastic pieces and has not faded or become discolored from the sun. There is one slight divot in one of the speaker grille perforations in the dash pad, but it is perfect otherwise. All of the gauges are in working order and are in excellent condition. Thecarpets are in excellentconditionwithout any staining, tears or extensive wear. The bench seat is in excellent shape without any separations or tears in the fabric. The seat still has fragments of plastic from the original seat covering underneath from new. The headliner is perfect without any sagging and the dome light still works. The exterior of this truck showsincredibly well.Thetruck has had one olderrepaint in the original colors. The paint is free of any major blemishes, but does have several small nicks, chips and fine surface scratches in the paint in various placesconsistent with an older repaint. The bottom of thepassenger fender near the rocker had some light surface rust which had caused thepaint to bubble slightly, so some minor blend work was done in that area. The body isextremely straight and all the bodygaps are all very even andsymmetrical. This F150 is free of any major body damage, dents or dings. The bed is verystraight and has had a rubberized bed mat since new. The undercarriage of this truck is very clean and rust free with only minorsurface rust on the frame and suspension components. All of the factory spot welds appear to be perfect throughout the entire truck as well. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The 5.8 351 V8 is very healthy and runs smoothly.This truck has a factory equipped 4 barrel carburetor. The three speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The transfer caseengagesin allpositions. The electronic dual tank switch works as it should. A set of 4brand new Hankook tires have just been installed. All of the original owner's manuals, pamphlets, purchase order, warranty identification card, and 33 years worth ofreceipts and invoices remain with the truck.
