Granny 1st gear.Old Blue has been a great family truck for three generations, and it is time for someone to take it back to great condition.Rust Free Pacific Northwest - has probably never been outside a 100 mile radius...Starts hard when warm - I suspect either a choke issue or just the carb needs adjustments. Once started, it runs like a top. Of course, itdrives like an old truck with no power steering and no power brakes.The carburetor is slightly newer - possibly late '60s - It needs to be gone through to start easier.The wood in the bed was replaced about 20 years ago. The boards are good and just need a refinish.Gauges except for the speedo work. The speedo used to work before going in for paint, so maybe it is just disconnected. The lights are finicky, and usually don't work, but tail lights and blinkers work.Will include new rubber floor covering and other spare parts that we have.
I'll happily share videos and more pictures with interested parties. We would like to see our pickup go to a great new home. This truck will be a great addition and either leave as-is or restore. The last picture I uploaded was one from about 20 years ago on the farm.
I drive it to work at least once a week and always get great waves and thumbs-up. I currently live about 60 miles from the family farm, and I drove the Ford to the farm and back last weekend with no issues.
