Description:

1926 Ford Model T

This is a Model T based hotrod constructed from a pre-engineered kit (Speedway Motors "Tribute T") from mostly new parts by me over the course of 6 years (2013-2019). I am a professional engineer that builds hotrods as a serious hobby and I have 35 years of experience in building cars.

The buyer of this car will be getting a fantastic deal as I do not want to go through the hassle of consigning or auctioning this car off and prefer a private ebay sale. This car is listed locally and will sell at any time I get my asking price. The price is very fair as I just want a uneventful sale to a good home.

This car was built for me by me and has the best parts I could afford such as a new posi 3:70 nine inch ford (Currie) rear differential and housing (This piece was over 3,500 dollars alone). The actual purchase cost of just the current parts on the car (I have a detailed list for the final buyer) is $21,800 and the actual cost to purchase these parts now would be higher.

I have spent a bunch of time and effort working out any bugs and the car runs and drives flawlessly.

The kit has been modified for a better riding suspension by installing cartridge shock absorbers. It has a new reversed Corvair steering box with a quick ratioso it steers like a sports car.

The engine is a 1970 350 chevy bored.030 over and has a GM forged LT1 crank and American made TRW forged flat top pistons. Newly rebuilt in 2015. It has a new comp cam,new flotek 180cc aluminum heads, performer manifold and Holley 650 street avenger carb which was brand new in 2017. It has a TH350 Auto trans wilth a B&M 2800 stall converter and shift kit.

It has brand new Classic Instruments "Hollywood Hot Rods" gauges and a steel 32 ford style dash which is very unique for a T Bucket.

It has aluminum bomber style seats with cloth covers for comfort. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and over 200 lbs and I fit in the car fine.

The car has 4 wheel GM disc brakes with a Lokar emergency brake setup. It has electroniic turn signals with auto cancel feature and hazard feature.

It has a tinted safety glass windshield laid back 15 degrees. There is no top with the car. The car body is channeled 3 inches over the frame and has a heavy reinforced floor and firewall.

The car had new polyurethane black base coat clear coat paint applied to the body in 2018 and looks 10 out of 10 on body finish.

The 10 gallon aluminum tank has a working fuel gauge.

It has a heavy duty Walker copper brass radiator and Model T repro metal grille shell and moto-meter.

It has original 1940's Guide accessory headlights. Model A rear taillights.

The car weights approximately 1300 lbs and has about 400 flywheel horsepower as configured so it runs well.

It has Coker bias ply reproduction Firestone Tires in 6.00 15 and 8.50 15 sizes on steel wheels.

The rear suspension is a Model A transverse spring type as engineered by Speedway Motors and rides well.

Feel free to contact me through Ebay if you have any questions, I am happy to discuss the car in detail if you want to come inspect the car in New Buffalo, MI
