1935 Ford Other Pickups --

This restored 1935 Ford pickup has a terrific look of old-school honesty on the outside, but as you look closer, there are hints at the powerful small block upgrade beneath the skin. The dark green paint looks great on this sleeper pickup. This nice glossy finish looks very period correct, but it has that unmistakable extra luster from a modern professional application. So it does a terrific job of highlighting all the curves of the steel body every... time the sunshine hits the sheetmetal. Plus, this dark color is a great backdrop for the cream-colored accenting on the cab's full pinstripe, Ford lettering on the tailgate, and 15-inch Coker Hot Rod Wire wheels â€" including the side-mounted spare. But the real standout opposing color comes from the wooden bed rails that also match the wood on the bed floor. We like this look on a '30s style machine because it boldly showcases the older style craftsmanship that came on the earlier vehicles. This is all part of full frame-off restoration that was completed in 2013, and there has only been about 2050 miles put on the truck since then, so it all looks nice. Inside is an upgraded interior that never loses its vintage feeling. For example, there were plenty of vinyl bench seats in classic trucks, but now this one is finished in a comfortable cloth. The distinct pattern is repeated on the door panels. This one has a modern AM/FM radio with aux input for your iPod, but it's neatly tucked under the dash. The banjo-style steering wheel is an upgrade, but it has a great vintage look, right down to the Ford logo in the center cap. Beyond that the gauge panel has a vintage look, but it's filled with modern Dolphin readouts. While this one is subtle about its upgrades inside and out, there's no hiding the upgrade under the hood. The small block Chevy V8 is absolutely an upgrade in power, and with so few miles on the build, it looks nice and tidy for everyone to see. This is a 350 cubic-inch motor that was enhanced and fortified with Crane Cam camshaft, bored .40 over kit w/turned crank 10/10, new heads with 194 valves, and an HEI ignition. It's topped with Edelbrock 650 CFM four-barrel carburetor and Offenhauser intake. It all makes a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. This V8 feeds a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. Plus, you have a stout Ford 8-inch rear, wide modern tires, and an upgrade to front disc brakes. So while it looks very vintage on the outside, this pickup is capable of much more powerful moves. A well restored vintage pickup with something extra under the hood â€" this is a very cool build and it's ready to run right now. Call before someone else does!
