The first generation Mustang convertible continues to be one of the most adored and collectible automobiles of the 1960s. This beautiful, low mileage 1966 convertible was recently restored by Art & Speed for one of our clients. Ready to move on to his next project, this 2018 restoration is now being offered to the market.

Not your typical restoration, this Mustang has been treated to a number of comfort, cosmetic and technology upgrades, while keeping true to the original mechanical architecture. Virtually everything on this car is in new or restored condition.

Finished in traditional Wimbledon White, this Mustang features a light blue convertible top, GT trim (including driving lights and correct dual exhaust trumpets). All new chrome adorns the exterior including handles, moldings, bumpers, emblems, taillights, etc. Factory style chrome rally wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

On the inside, things get even more interesting. Original style Deluxe "Pony" interior has been replaced with custom bolstered sport bucket seats wrapped in light blue and wimbledon white in the correct "Pony" motiff. A matching custom console incorporates a padded armrest, dual cup holders, and custom integrated air registers for the Vintage Air climate control. The driver is treated to a polished walnut and aluminum Shelby steering wheel. Custom padded matching door panels and kick panels with integrated Kenwood speakers complete the look. Entertainment is provided by a Bluetooth controlled vintage-look audio system.
