You don't see too many original 289 4spd convertibles.
This convertible is extremely presentable, runs and drive great.Originally a 289 C code 2v which was been upgrade to a 4Vwith aluminum Edelbrock Performer 289 intake. As far asI can tell the engine isn't original to the car but has been recentlyrebuilt along with the 4spd toploader transmission.
Recent base coat, clear coat paint job in the factory great color of dark moss green.Most of the interior is new in ivy green, the factory color.New black convertible top with folding rear glass. A new convertibletop boot cover is included.
Wheels and tires are in very nice shape with good tread.The front bumper has a few blemishes but is presentable.
The car does have a little rust in the rear frame rails near the springs but nothingthat will hinder anyone from enjoying the car as is for awhile.The drivers side cowl top hat area will eventually need replacement. It hasn'tbeen an issue for me since the car has been garaged and I carry a cowl coverif I'm out and get stuck in rain.
