I Reserve the Right to End this Listing Early Call or Text… 706-831-1899 Up for auction is a 1935 Ford (model 48) 5-Window coupe with Rumble Seat… I purchased this car locally from the widow of one of our local car enthusiast who built this car in 2004. The car was a good running and driving all original car when he purchased it in 2002. It has been garage kept and pampered since restore, just the same as it was prior to the restoration. This coupe has always been a rust-free running and driving car since 1935! Feel free to call me for details and more info… 706-831-1899 The paint is stunning. It is slick like glass with a mirror finish and the original all steel body is laser straight. The stance is adjustable with the air ride suspension for show and for cruising. The rumble seat and the roof pad match the beautiful custom leather interior. The polished wheels are American Racing with Knock-Offs and the tires are Nitto Radials Extreme Performance P235/40zr17’s front and 275/50zr17’s on the rear. The glass is excellent with power windows and original manual roll down rear glass. It has custom pin-striping and very nice chrome and trim. The interior is pro custom restored with soft leather and custom designed dash. There is a lot of leg room in this car. I am 6’1 with a 36’ inseam and I have the seat about 5 inches from all the way back when I’m driving the car. The wiring is from EZ wiring and I have the diagrams and many other books on the build. The gauges and instruments are from TPI Tech. All gauges work except for the fuel gauge and the speedometer. It has tachometer, clock, oil pressure, temp, volts, all working, and the gauges light up with headlights on. All lights and turn signals work, power windows and door poppers work. The radio does not work. There is an Air Ride gauge in the console with ride control toggle. It has tilt steering wheel. The Vintage AC (Mini Gen II) blows cold and hard. It also has a “Tric Tag” drop down tag switch on the console. The underside is show car clean with paint booth painted frame, rear end, and supporting members. (could be powder coat, I can’t really tell). There are pictures below of the underside. The power brake booster is mounted underneath on the frame for the front disc brakes. The engine is a 24-Stud Flathead V8 (year 38-48). It was built with Offenhauser aluminum heads, Offenhauser intake, and a Holley 390cfm w/electric choke. It has Mallory ignition. I had the car tuned up with new plugs, oil and filter change, chassis lube, and my mechanic basically went over the entire engine and drive train checking and tightening any and all bolts that needed as well as a thorough inspection. The engine starts up with one light pat on the gas and it runs very well. You can hear it running in the video below… This car is fun to cruise around in and a real show stopper. The previous owner spent a lot of money on the build and the coupe was built to keep… not to sale. The new owners will be very proud of this car, just like the previous was and it shows in the quality and workmanship that went into the build.
