For sale in our showroom is a beautiful 1968 Mustang Shelby GT350 tribute. Now this is not your average tribute in fact this one might make Carroll a little envious! This pony has all the tricks from the drop dead gorgeous blue paint job to the kidney kicking 351 Windsor with a stroker kit to a 408CID, power plant that pumps out dynode 550 horses! But lets start at the beginning.This 68 GT350 started out life as a fastback and a vision. This pretty pony spent quite some time strapped to the rotisserie as she was stripped and massaged, as no new body panels were used. She is wearing all the original metal she began with, of course some of this original metal was covered with Shelby fiberglass panels and then it was all layered with this deep blue paint. Even the undercoating was well thought out as catalyzed bed-liner was used for protection, looks, and added insulation. For the interior Mustangs to Fear were called on to provide their high quality components. Now onto the good stuff! Under the hood is a high revving 408 CID that is .030 over, and filled with all the good stuff like forged pistons, roller rockers and hefty bump stick. Bolted to the top of this combo are edelbrock aluminum heads and RPM air gap intake manifold and perched on top of all of these goodies is a Fitech fuel-injection system. Lighting the fires is a MSD ignition system and helping with the exhaust gases are ceramic coated headers. Between all this power and the 9 inch Ford rear end is a newly rebuilt C4 3 speed automatic transmission that provides firm shifting and controls the under hood beast with precision. So what you have here is all the fun and style allowed by law and a little extra! Options on this incredible car include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM compact disc player, power steering and brakes, power windows, leather interior, seat belts,two optima gel batteries tucked away in the trunk, radial tires wrapped around rally rims.
