Factory Acapulco blue Mach 1, sharp!
1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
This is a real Mach 1. Born Acapulco blue and actually it was born a 390! Very desirable car. The owner bought it in 2008, down in Georgia. EXTERIOR: It's got it goin on! This body style is one of the slickest ever. Add to it Acapulco blue, gloss black hood, scoops, spoiler and window louvers- you can't beat it. It has an aggressive stance jacked up in back. Tough looking Magnum 500 chrome wheels with BFG tires, bigger in... back. It's all in excellent shape too. I'm eyeballing down each side and it's straight. The clear coat finish is polished like glass. The stripes are reflective. Up front the grill and bumpers are excellent. The wheel well moldings, rocker trim, stainless window trim, door handles have all been replaced. In back the gas cap, bumper, tail lights all look like new. INTERIOR: It has the deluxe interior which includes high back bucket seats, molded door panels with wood grain trim and a console. This one also has optional fold down rear seat. The door panels, upholstery, carpet, headliner have been replaced. The dash pad has been replaced, it's not a glue on plastic cap. Has an upgraded Mustang retro stereo. The entire car has been rewired with Painless wire harness, every single wire. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a glossy engine bay and at the heart of it is a performance 351 Windsor motor. Upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, new dual feed Holley carb, Holley fuel pump, Accel ignition and a set of coated headers. Has a serpentine belt and pulley system. Dressed up with chrome alternator and finned aluminum valve covers. Newer Griffin radiator with an aluminum overflow bottle. The metal inner fenders and core support are painted gloss black and have perfectly clean seams. Firewall is painted blue. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean. It has the good, insulated reproduction mat. Under that is the new gas tank. Tail light housings look new, latches are cleaned. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the outside has the jacking instructions you weatherstrip the latches have been detailed the insulated mats UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor has a chrome oil pan, starter looks new. Has completely rebuilt 4-speed Top Loader trans. Recent clutch. New U-joints and driveshaft. Has a nice fat exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and crossover pipe. Front end components appear to be in good shape. Has 4 new shocks. Fuel tank and sender look new. Solid metal underside, floors have been replaced. It is respectable underneath. This Mach 1 certainly has sizzle. The looks are awesome, a 4-speed is fun. Others will wish it was their's!
