1948 Ford Other Pickups F1

1948 Ford F1 ½ ton truck. Flathead V8 with vintage Edelbrock finned aluminum heads. Floor shift 3-speed transmission. Excellent project truck. Old green paint. This truck sat in a garage in Minneapolis for 30 years before I bought it. Runs and yard drives but needs brakes, wiring, tires, etc. (It is only wired to start and run.) All of the original emblems and trim are there and in good shape. Factory original wheels with matching stainless hub caps and trim rings. The truck has some rust. The cab is quite solid with only a small 2-3" hole in the floor behind the front cab mounts. The fenders have rust in the usual places these F1's have. The doors are solid and open and close well. Needs most of the glass. Driver side window regulator is broken but a working regulator and handle are included in the sale. Also included is an extra gas tank and sender (original tank is rusty inside).

ENGINE:Original 239 flathead V8 engine. Starts easily and runs well. Has a 12 volt alternator and bracket added. I just put a new modern starter drive in it and a new solenoid. The battery is not included (it is out of my boat).
