1931 Ford Model A Roadster

This model A is an exquisite example of a mild Street Rod that is a real attention getter, yet an affordable car that can be enjoyed on the nicest of days. The all steel body and fenders painted in a beautiful blue and black in combination with a new interior and convertible top make for a stunning combination. (see the donor car photos for pre project condition) A modern hot rod chassis was placed under with front disc and rear drum brakes. The drive train is a very strong mid eighties 305, 4 barrel with a turbo 350 auto transmission driving a 9 inch rear end. This car starts at first hit of the starter and runs out very strong. The exhaust has a nice mellow rich sound at idle but growls nice upon acceleration. The Auto Meter gauges include Fuel, Volts, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Tachometer and of course Speedometer/Odometer that currently reads 4,970 miles. The car has a tilt steering wheel and turn signals and 4 way flashers, and of course the Ahh-Ooga horn! The only thing that is not hooked up is the single drivers wiper but hey, it's a roadster that you probably wouldn't drive in the rain anyway.
