1970 Ford F250 16965 Miles Red Pickup Truck 360ci V8 4-Speed Manual
1970 Ford F-250 --
From 1967-1972 Ford was already on its fifth generation of F-Series pickup trucks and by now the Truck market was hot and the fight was on at this time mainly between Ford and GM. The F-250 Highboy was the cream of the crop and was sought after not only by the general consumer but by municipal agencies and utility companies that saw a need for a stout and tall work truck. This particular stunning machine has what is believed to... be just over 16,000 original miles. It was bought new by a Upper Peninsula Michigan Fire Dept. and spent 20 years in service probably as a brush truck. It spent its entire life in a climate controlled setting with washes after every job. After retirement it was sold to a gentleman who stored it at his Northern Michigan cottage and used it sparingly. A few years ago the truck was sold to our consignor who went through the truck and gave it a new paint job among other things. This is a factory High Boy, which is just a nickname and not used by Ford with its stock original 360 Cubic Inch engine that starts runs and sounds perfect. This is a radio delete truck with everything else in great working order. This F250 goes down the road smooth and strait and is ready for whatever. This is even a rarer truck with the step side rear bed. This truck has lived a pampered life and received all the right touch ups upon light restoration.
