1932 Ford Roadster

110K OBO

This SO-CAL Speed Shop built 1932 Ford Hiboy Roadster represents the best of traditional hot rodding. And although the basic styling is the late 50's, there are many one-off machined aluminum trim pieces used throughout the theme of the car. The machined aluminum parts were methodically designed, softened and polished to enhance the traditional style of the vehicle. Notably the front and rear spreader bars, gas cap, taillight bezels, license plate frame and horn button are all machine made, yet look like cast aluminum.

Other subtle changes such as the "square cornered" SO-CAL Speed Shop windshield frame, a peaked-to-perfection 3 piece hood and grille shell and a very outrageous set of outside headers. Note how the headers exit over the frame instead of under for a super clean look. The flawless black paint, louvers and Halibrand 16" and 18" knock-off wheels enhance the package but the final touch is the flame job. The flame design was applied from a mask taken directly from the side of the world famous "California Kid" 1934 Ford coupe. Special thanks to Pete Chapouris and the Slover family for allowing that to happen.

This vehicle was built over 10 years ago and has just over 1000 miles on it. Always kept in a climate controlled garage and was detailed on a regular basis. To say the car is flawless is an understatement. Today the car would be 200k to have built at any professional facility.
