Description:
1966 Ford Bronco Base
Up for auction is my 1966 Bronco U15 Base Model with the 270 Inline 6 cylinder w/ Manual Transmission (3-Spd on the Column) 4WD with PTO option. NO TITLE - BILL OF SALE ONLY (Do not bid if you can't register in your state without a title) Georgia allows antique vehicles to be registered without titles that are passed so many years in age. If you have less than 5 feedbacks, please message me before bidding, or your bid will be automatically canceled. This is a serious auction, thanks. Key Notes - Eyebrow Grille (Very Rare Early Production Body by "Budd" possibly Before Mid November 1965), PTO (Power Take Off ), Ramsey Winch (8000lb), UNCUT Rear Fenders. Q&A --- I'll try to help you and me by answering a lot of the common questions. I have over 150+ pictures if you need to see anything specific, so please just ask! - Paint Work - Paint code "C" for Pure White, and it's white --- however, it's in need of some attention. There has been some bondo "filler" work on the passenger side, and the paint has started to flake. - Body - Uncut and original. The body has had some type of rust prevention coating applied via brush which looks terrible... The yellow coatings appear to be a primer coating, but I'm not 100% sure. I've taken magnets to all of the exterior body panels and the only filler I could find were on right rear passengers quarter between the door and rear wheel arch. The other place was on the right front fender between the door and front wheel arch. Other key areas to note were the tailgate, as it has a good bit of surface rust and a dent on the upper part (passengers side) The passenger's inner fender has rust around the edge up top, the hood has significant rust on the front edge, the front windshield frame has significant rust on the passengers side lower section. The top has drip rail rust as many Broncos have. To be 53 years young, it's got its perks but it also has its work cut out to be solid again. - Doors - Drivers door has a good bit of rust showing underneath, but the door shuts great and the hinges look good... Passengers door closes fine and the hinges look great on it as well. The inner door panels have surface rust, but all latches and window cranks operate as they should. - Floor Pans - Full pan replacement will be needed. See pictures. - Engine - 270 Inline Six - Starts Up with Choke and runs with choke half way. There is definitely a carburetor issue, and the manual fuel pump has been bypassed. There is an electric fuel pump that has been added without a regulator, so it continually pumps fuel, however, this will need attention to be road worthy. Engine currently has oil leak, but there are no other leaks to be noted. - Electronics / Wiring - Some lights work, but there may be blown bulbs, I've just not gotten around to check them. The standard radio doesn't work currently. I also haven't seen any gauges work except for the voltage gauge. - Transmission - The clutch engages and disengages as it should, the column shifter is very sloppy but it finds the gears. The transfer case is functional, with full movement, however, noises can be heard significantly when trying to use anything other than 4HI. The front hubs are very easy to lock and freewheel work as they should. I've had two instances where the transmission has bound up and it was due to full lock turning and in 1st gear 4HI... I just free'd everything up by jacking up the front axle and put the hubs in freewheelmode. - Steering - The manual box feels great for the 10mph I've driven it... There is little to no slop, which is surprising. - Brakes - Work great, the master cylinder is missing the cap (which I've ordered) and as of right now the emergency brake isn't functioning. - Wheels/ Tires - OEM 15" steel wheels and to note, the tires need replacing due to dry rot. - Glass - All glass appears to be in great shape for it's the age with only a small crack on the passenger's vent window toward the corner. - Underside - Surface rust w/ absolutely no UNDERCOAT hiding anything. They could be saved with media blast and POR15. - Top - Drip rails have some deep rust that will need attention. The overall top itself looks great, and the rear latch works as it should. - Interior - Original front seats??? I've never seen this pattern before, so I'm not sure.. There is no rear seat included with the Bronco. The Driver's seat is not mounted currently, but the passenger side is correctly mounted. All of the interior rubber moldings will need to be replaced as they are either missing or worn. -- Copy/Paste Youtube Links Below -- Youtube Walk Around (Running) -https://youtu.be/grFT4mTk9w8 Youtube Walk Around (Details) -https://youtu.be/uovW01Lqchc Youtube Winch PTO Demonstration -https://youtu.be/bULi39ObQNk If you want to sink a small fortune ($10k-$15k) after purchasing this vintage Bronco and have a great looking classic "Uncut" then this is the one for you. *** I reserve the right to end this auction early due to the Bronco being listed for sale locally. *** I will work with your shipper of choice once the full payment has been made and clear.
