STRAIGHT AND SOLID, REBUILT ENGINE AND 5-SPEED TRANS, NICE DRIVER! This is sweet little original style hot-rod truck that someone has spent a lot of money restoring. Take a look at the video, pictures, and details below then call Stephen at 404-921-4873.
Cosmetic - Paint/Body: Super straight body with only minimal rust on the bottom of the passenger door. Otherwise rust free and solid. Paint is hotrod black and consistent from bumper to bumper.
- Interior: Clean interior with uncut dash and original gauges. Seat is nice and comfy, no rips or tears. Original rubber floor mat has a few tears. Nice headliner and new sun visors.
- Glass/Windows: All new glass and weatherstripping, windows roll up and down super smooth.
- Trunk: Bed sides and tailgate are in great condition. Wood in the bed is old and could be replaced. Bed rail strips and bolts are in good shape and can be reused.
- Undercarriage: Unbelievable rust free floor pans and cab corners. Solid and rust free frame rails. One spot of rust on the inner passenger rocker (see video).
- Wheels/Tires: New aluminum wheels with new Cooper radial tires.
Mechanical - Drivetrain: Over $6000 spent on the engine and transmission. 239 flathead starts easily and runs strong, but has a miss on plug 1 when cold. May be an internal issue with the engine causing an occasional backfire. Just had the engine serviced and tested. 5-speed transmission is new and shifts smoothly through all the gears. A release bearing may need to be
- Lights/Electrical: All of the lights work correctly. Horn needs a new button.
- Brakes: Brakes are new and stop straight and strong.
