Excellent condition, needs a little work

1987 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat

Had planned to restore this beautiful truck but time is an issue. Has been carport kept up until two weeks ago. I'm the second owner of this vehicle, the prior iwner states that he rebuilt the motor and transmission less than 25,000 miles before I bought it. It runs fast, no oil leaks. Being stored for two years I had to replace a few things: starter, solenoid, battery. When I got it started again, it sounded like the belts are slipping and the check engine light came on--the belts may be the only thing it needs replacing or possibly the alternator. I drained both fuel tanks and the rear one may also need cleaning out. The front one is perfect. Other recent parts in the motor include an MSD distributor and coil, and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburator. Before I stopped driving the truck a few years ago, the air condition worked perfectly. Also, I replaced the crappy bushings in the power wondow motors with appropriate-sized steel bearings and fresh grease. As a result, they move a bit slower, however, you will never have to replace another crappy window motor bushing ever again! I switched the oil to full synthetic as soon as I acquired this truck. Was also using non-ethanol fuel exclusively. Also included in the sale is the owner's manual and original window sticker, and a pair of new aluminum loading ramps.
