Why go to the headache of cutting up a frame, welding it back together and reinforcing it to lower your Rat Rod truck to the ground when you can buy this 1947 Ford COE? It has already had all the hard work done to properly modify the frame to lower it and the best part is it was done back in 1947!

I believe this truck was actually built to deliver Coca-Cola products. A stack of glass bottle soda isn't particularly light, so to make it easier to load and unload this delivery truck, the frame was C'd at the rear axle and Z'd behind the cab to get the entire body closer to the ground. This not only made the work of loading and unloading cases of bottles easier, but it also made this trucklook fantastic!
Unlike a frame someone has chopped up and welded back together themselves, this frame appears to have been manufactured this way. Given how it's built, it should be pretty simple to drop this truck to the ground if you are so inclined and you won't have to worry if it is done right.

As great as the options are for this truck, what's really important is just how solid it is. The cab has a rust spot on the passenger cab corner but having spent its life in the desert it isn't a rust bucket. The red and white paint scheme is unique and has a nice patina.

The truck currently has a Flathead V8 sitting under the cab that is paired to a floor shift manual. It was still running and driving just a few years back, but isn't currently running. I'm unsure what it will take to get it running at this point.

While the box is gone, the rest of this truck is complete and present. Whether you are looking for a really cool truck to restore or a truck to turn into a wild rat rod, this truck has great potential for both!

I have a clear and open title. I'm relisting this truck due to a no show bidder, so a $1,000 USD deposit is due as soon as the auction ends. If you have any questions about the truck or the auction, please message me!

Also, I can help arrange worldwide shipping. I work with many good transporters and all major ports. I have transport companies that will charge .85 cents per mile from ZIP Code 59106, plus tolls, anywhere in the lower 48.

I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
