1972 Ford Ranchero GT

This week we bring you a vehicle that takes the compromise out of deciding if you want a car or a truck. The body is pretty straight but does have some rust in the quarters, the chassis looks good from what we can see but there are definitelyrust issues in the floor. This was originally a 351 V8 car but the engine is long gone. There is an auto trans present but the condition is absolutely unknown. All of the random loose parts in the back come with the car as does the remains of the camper shell. however, if you don't want the shell or the loose parts we totally understand and they can be left behind if you choose.This Ranchero has spent the better part of a decade sitting in a garage waiting for you to come and put the pieces back together.Every car has a story and fortunately with this one we know some of it. The previous owner was a neat lady that had dreams of drag racing this car. Illness prevented her from making this dream come true herself but it would sure be cool to see someone else make it happen. If you are the high bidder, complete this car and put it on the track please get us a video to share with her. We have a clear Virginia title for this car but it is sold TMU (true miles unknown) as it is incomplete and we have no way to certify the actual mileage on the car.As with all of our recent auctions, we will make the decision to bid as easy as possible with no reserve and a $1.00 starting bid.
Due to the overall condition of this vehicle, it is being soldas-is where-is. When making pickuparrangementsmake sure to be prepared with a proper trailer, winch, and muscle to properly load and secure the vehicle. Loading assistance WILL NOT be available at our location. If you are a buyer within the state of Virginia local delivery is available for an additional fee to be determined by distance. Because we are a licensed dealer we will require that you either come to our location to do paperwork in person OR we can mail you the documents so you can fill them out at your location then send them back to us before we release the vehicle to be picked up. We will require a deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction and full payment within 7 days. If the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days it will be considered abandoned property.
