1965 Ford Thunderbird convertible
Up for sale is a nice 1965 ford thunderbird convertible, 390 bigblock with automatic transmission.Has many options, power disc brakes, power steering, am radio, power windows, power driver seat,tilt away steering wheel.Car has rust in a few places in floorpan, common in these convertibles. Two replace all 4 sections of floorpan they are only $70 each for floor pan patch panels each. I would replace all 4 sections.Otherwise body is pretty straight and doesn't appear to have ever been in any accidents. It can be straightened back into place.Passenger door looks like someone pryed out the edge with a screw driver by lock.Trunklid has weird crease in it where it appears to have fallen down into bumper.The car was running good when parked, now sitting outside has done its toll on the interior.I have been collecting missing interior parts like rear seat, some chrome that is heavily pitted. I have replaced with nice originals.Motor is there and looks like it might run, but carbureto, and air cleaner, and fuel pump are missing from the car. The passenger fender turn signal is not on the car anymore.There is the convertible metal frame, the folding decklid on the car, all other convertible parts are gone. 2 guys can lift trunk lid and fold top into trunk for cruiseing, only take a a minute and you still have one classy convertible.My neighbors are giving me a hard time about too many cars, so I lowered my price to $3200.I do have a nice 1964 thunderbird hardtop parts car for $500 with nice motor and transmission, I can sell but it needs to be moved from where it is within 2 weeks.
