This is the real deal guys, this is a all steel, purpose built race car. A true old school Hot Rod.
All original Ford steel, rust free, dent free car .
There is so much to say about this little car, I dont know where to start .
Built in the mid 70s, here in Oak Cliff Texas, at Uncle Danials old car factory, The chop and channel where done in CA in the early 70s, then the car was brought to Texas where it was finished .
A few things about the car,
2 inch chop in the back, 2 1/2 in the front.
6 inch channel,
Has all the garnish moldings except the windshiled header.
Original Ford grill shell and incert.
Window cranks have been dismantled. cleaned and greased ..windshield pushes out ..
Cowl vent has been leaded over.
Ford script 32 headlites ..
Replaced both internal door latch springs, replaced all door hinge fasteners, what a chore ...
68ish Camaro seats, interrior needs done, I guess, I liked it old school look,
Has 2 layers of insolation and all the original wood ..
All the guages word with execption of the speedo, I just never cared about it, so never got around to fixing it ..
The rear lower beltline has been raised to keep it above the tires.
The rear of the frame was bobbed and a roll pan built, fuel tank in the trunk.
Fully adjustable 4 link front and rear, Duel action coil overs in the rear, panhard bars front and rear.
Brakes, 70s F100 in the front, Stock 8inch in the rear ..
The engine is a Merc 4 inch stroke, 30 over bore, center cap is straped, Has a nasty 400 Jr Isky cam, and springs, hollow adjustable lifters, Eddy Myers tunnel ram, with 2 Holly 2110 carbs.
Mallory unilite distributor, MSD 6200 series ign. box .
12 volt generator system, new 12 volt fields, brushes and bushings, with a power cut off switch in the trunk.
Engins is very nasty, runs very strong, sounds very very good .. hits hard ...
I drive this car every day, and last year in the 102 degree days, she never got over 180ish sitting, and runs a steady 160ish ..
Transmission is a Tremec 6 speed, new clutch PP and TO, B@M quick shift shifter,
Crazy transmission, at 3500 RPM in high gear your runnning right at 140 MPH
Has a steel scatter shield,
Line loc on the front brake, custom built 4 core Radiator with electric fan .
Diff is a 8 inch Ford posi unit, full Strange, 32 spline Strange axles, Strange pinion support and Strange Possie carrier, with 3.84 Motive ring and pinion set ..
I have compleetly rebuilt all the suspension bushings,
Front axle is Ford, 32, droped and drilled ..
Car is a total blast to drive, Ive had it to 140 severial times, and it drives like the race car it was built to be..
There is NOTHING needs to be done to this car, but drive it ..
Paint, 5 coats of hand rubbed Washington blue Laquor ..
Ive had the compleete body down to metal, car is 99.9 % rust free, frame is 100 % rust free, and no bondo ....
I have done the brakes, all brgs, kingpns, all bushings,,
Rebuilt the vega bo,
Has a 32 column with a banjo wheel, I adapted a bearing in place of the steering shaft bushing, horn button works,
Wheels, front are 40 ford, rears are Multi pattern steelies, 16s, New tires,
This is a period correct hot rod, very well built, if this is the type of car you are looking for, here she is ..
